Join CAL
As a visual artist you may claim a resale royalty for your artworks for second and subsequent sales in the Australian art market. You may also be able to participate in and claim payments from the other licence schemes CAL manages, if you control the rights of reproduction or communication for your artworks. If you are a member of CAL and your artworks are identified in one of our sample surveys, you will be able to claim CAL allocations for that use.
If you do not control these rights, we recommend you still join CAL if you wish to attend meetings, vote for directors or otherwise participate in CAL’s governance. Membership of CAL is free and visual artists can join as author members by completing this application.
